The Power of Music

The power of music is absolutely amazing. Have you ever thought about how much of an impact songs can have on people? So many different emotions are stirred up inside you when you hear music. Sometimes when you hear a beautiful Mozart piece you feel relaxed and smart. Or you might hear a BackStreet Boys song and you just wish you could sing like them and you could get any girl you want to. Maybe heavy metal gets you psyched up and you feel like you could take on the whole world. Rap could make you feel all cool and give you the impression that you really are a gansta at heart. How about soul/gospel music? When I hear gospel songs I am sometimes convinced that I am truly black on the inside. While we're still down in the southern styles, why don't we take a look at the jazz. Jazz is such an easy going genre, you feel like all your worries have just gone all away. Or you could take it the opposite way with some blues and you feel like you can actually relate to others' problems. Of course then there is still country, all twangy and western sounding. With their funny voices you just wonder why anyone would sing like that. Yet somehow we always find ourselves trying to sing like when we hear country rhythms or western sounding music. There are so many great things about music where would we be without it?

I would have to agree with you music has a very big power. Everytime the song changes your emotions and mood changes also. I sometimes wonder what we do without music...i personally dont thinki i could live without the rhythm of music.
